The team was high on confidence after winning the first match comfortably. And a confident Harmanpreet led team chose to bat winning the toss. But what followed was nightmare. It wa clear that pitch was difficult to bat in, and that Indian bowlers would use them to their advantage. But still the bowlers had very less runs to defend. Wickets kept falling at regular intervals , but the hosts didn't look troubled. Nigar Sultana held was firm on one end, and was challenging Indian bowlers, and it looked like she is going to level the series. However, Deepthi's brilliance and quick stumping by Yastika sent Bangla skipper back on the 5th delivery of penultimate over.

Shafali was given the task to restrict Bangla women from scoring those 10 runs. And she nailed it. Nahida Akter was runout on the first ball, trying to score a couple runs. And then without conceding a run, wickets fell on every alternate delivery, which ended the Bangla innings on the last ball for 87 runs.
