India storm into the finals of Emerging Asia Cup

India defeats Bangladesh in a low-scoring match to make their way in finals of Emerging Asia Cup 2023. The other day, they defeated Pakistan side having some international players, by registering a huge victory by 8 wickets. And today the youngsters have done a terrific job by restricting the team the Bangla team to chase 212 runs. Skipper Yash Dhull, Nisant Sindhu and Manav Suthar played a major role in the victory.

Seems like low scoring thrillers against Bangladesh are now a common sight for India. The previous , Shafali and Deepthi's heroics helped Women in Blue win the low scoring T20 , and Jemimah's all-round performance helped them win a low scoring odi against Bangla women. And now it's the Emerging Indian men's team which have pulled off a victory in a low scoring match against Bangladesh men's team. But with this victory , they have a chance to lift the inaugural edition of Emerging Asia cup, and would love to replicate what Emerging women's team did for India a month back.

Speaking of the match, Bangla bowlers kept tight lines , making life difficult for Indian batters. Sai Sudarshan, Abhishek Sharma and Nikin Jose tried but couldn't convert their starts. Skipper Yash Dhull played captain's innings by scoring 66 crucial runs for the team. Furthermore, some crucial runs from Manav Suthar and Rajvardhan Hangargekar helped India reach to a decent total of 211 runs. Bowlers had a really low total to defend.

And in response, the Bangla openers started really well. The opening partnership was broken after them scoring 70 runs. Nikin Jose pulled off a spectacular catch to dismiss the half centurion Tamzid Hasan, which was Bangladesh's 2nd wicket. And post that, Bangla team never recovered. Wickets fell at regular intervals, and India bundled Bangladesh for 160 runs, winning the match by 51 runs. Nishant Sindhu starred with the ball for India, claiming his 1st 5wicket haul, and Manav Suthar scalped 3 crucial wickets.

It's a happy day for Indians. They witnessed Virat Kohli hit 76th century again West Indies, and simultaneously the Emerging Indian team made it to the finals of the Emerging Asia Cup. The youngsters are high on confidence. They won while chasing, they have won while defending low scores. And with the bar set high from them, one would expect them to lift the title and make history. Hoping to see that happen.
