The match between India and Pakistan is always up on the minds of fans from both the countries, no matter which sport it is. And today with the hype of the match, everyone was looking forward for it. In the match against Pakistan, India hardly looked troubled. The champions of Intercontinental Cup were right up there against arch-rivals and lit up the stage by winning 4-0 against the same.

The captain of Indian team, and one of the finest players , Sunil Chettri scored his first hat-trick against Pakistan. Seems like every Indian captain from India loves to get going against arch-rivals. Making his intentions clear right from the start, Chettri scored in the 10th and 16th minute itself giving the team a good lead. Further in the second half, he scored one when India received a corner in 73rd minute completing his hat-trick. If this was not enough for Pakistan , in the 81st minute Udanta scored another making it 4-0 for the hosts.

Seemed like Pakistan were never in the game, and everything went in India's favour. Except for the red card for Ignor Stimac where an unnecessary provocation from him heated things up in the middle. Looks like even foreign coaches get charged up knowing it is a India-Pakistan game. Barring that, nothing went against India. Infact the Pakistan players were feeling so much pressure that in the 68th minute, Pakistan almost ended up scoring an own goal. They will try to look for better games coming next, and meanwhile India will look to carry forward the momentum they have gained since Intercontinental Cup victory.
