The unbeaten team in the tournament won the final with 2-0 against a comparatively high ranked Lebanon. Captain Sunil Chettri and Chhangte scored for India in the second half for India, who didn't concede any goal in the match.

Blue Tigers, who were playing for the first time in Bhubaneswar, will now have strong memories attached to the stadium. Having defeated Mongolia, Vanuatu, and tied the group stage match against Lebanon, India emerged victorious in the final against Lebanon, thereby being undefeated at the venue.
