Indian origin Kenyan superstar Pushkar Sharma helps Ruaraka A is ruling NPCA super division 50 overs league. In the last match, his 7-wicket haul with a hat-trick helped his team register a massive win over Obuya A. And today his heroics with the bat helped his team win the game comfortably as he hit a magnificent century.
Pushkar is displaying his array of skills in the league, owning it like a boss. He is making it a habit of getting into the news for all the good cricketing reasons. The capped player playing for Ruaraka is massively contributing to the team's success since him being a part of it. His all-round abilities are once again on display ,as in the last match his heroics with the ball helped the team, and today it was his heroics with the bat, which helped Ruaraka cross the finish line.
A fine century from him , complimented by Sachin Gill's amazing half century, gave Swamibapa A no chance to return in the game. With Pushkar being the initial aggressor, he hit a mammoth 12 fours and 2 sixes in his innings of 103. Ruaraka lost the first wicket early, and pressure was on them. But Pushkar and Sachin put the pressure back on the Swamibapa bowlers, registering another great victory for their team.
Scoring centuries is not a new thing for Pushkar. It's an area he excels at. Back in 2021 , he had hit 4 centuries in the NPCA league , scoring a total of mammoth 841 runs in 14 matches. His contribution had helped Ruaraka reach to a higher position in the league back then. And it seems like he wants to replicate it yet again, with even greater contribution with through his bowling. His consistent performances were the reason why he was selected in the Kenya National Team in 2022, who excelled in sub-regional qualifiers for 2024 T20 world cup. Post the NPCA 50 over league, he will try to perform for same playing for Purple Caps in Shree Cutchi Lewa Patel Samaj Premier League.
His strength is his commitment. He works even more harder when he plays even after performing well. It results in his continuous development. Speaking about the heroics today, the southpaw said "I am very happy to contribute for my team. I would love to continue the form I am in, and help my team. I am thankful for my team and Mansukh Hirani sir for supporting me. I am also thankful to all my sponsors like Indiafirst Life Insurance, Optex Opticians Ltd, Avedaayurveicclinic, Trinetreeyecare, Housoffones for constantly supporting me. This century goes to my wellwishers, family and God". Pushkar , who once captained Mumbai U-16 team, is showing Mumbai and India selectors of what they missed by not selecting him. We wish him more success on the field and wish to see him inspire many others.
