Ajinkya Rahane who was back into the squad post the domestic circuit and IPL, is back in the squad as the Vice Captain of the team. His performance in the WTC final and his previous captaincy record has been taken into consideration to give him the position of second most important member in the squad. Cheteshwar Pujara on the other hand has been dropped from the side owing to his string of lower performances. It's arguable looking at what he can do.
