Every Olympic Games are special in itself, but the one happening in Paris in the coming 2 weeks are going to be the most special ones. Here's a few things about the Paris Olympics which everyone should know:

1) The Paris Olympic Games are held from 26 July to 11 August.

2) Paris is hosting the Summer Olympics for the third time. Paris previously hosted the Olympics in 1900 and 1924. Of course Paris would host the Summer Olympics a full 100 years later.

3) There will be 32 sports in these Olympics. Those games consist of 28 main sports and 4 additional ones. Which includes surfing, skateboarding, sport climbing, break dancing etc.

4) For the first time there will be equal number of boys and girls in the Olympics. It will promote gender equality.

5) The last and interesting thing is that for the first time in the history of the Olympics, the opening ceremony of the Olympics will not be held in any stadium but in the middle of the river. In which all the participating countries will have their own boat.
